Job Title: Cluster Project Manager – Railway Projects
Location: PAN India
Reports to: Business Head
Job Summary:
The Cluster Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination, execution, and completion of multiple railway infrastructure projects within a defined region or cluster. The role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality. The position demands strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to stakeholder management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple railway projects (track work, electrification, civil works, S&T etc.) within a cluster.
Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and budget controls.
Monitor day-to-day execution activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
Maintain close communication with clients, consultants, and railway authorities.
Conduct regular site visits, audits, and progress reviews.
Identify project risks, delays, and resource constraints, and implement corrective measures.
Approve work progress, material usage, and contractor billing.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
Report weekly/monthly progress to senior management with accurate updates.
Qualifications:
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering
Experience: 10–15 Years (minimum 5 years in railway infrastructure projects)
Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or railway projects
Knowledge of Indian Railways' standards, codes, and compliance protocols
